"Generation is paused"
A deliberate stop, not an outage.
Occasionally the site refuses new generations with a message saying generation is paused. That is a safety measure, not a crash: every finished generation is checked against what the provider actually billed, and if anything is ever charged below what it cost us, selling stops until a human has looked at it.
Nothing you have paid for is lost — jobs already running finish, and nothing new is charged while the pause is in force. It is normally cleared quickly.
