While your video is being made

The job page, what its steps mean, and why you can close it.

After Generate you land on the job page. It shows the prompt, model, length, shape, route and price, and a frame that becomes the video when it is ready — no refreshing needed.

  • Queued — waiting for a rendering slot. A working queue, not a stall; the clock keeps ticking so you can see it is alive.
  • Generating — the model is rendering.
  • Upscaling to 1080p or 4K — only if you chose an upscale.
  • Ready — the video plays, with Extend, Download, Make another and Library underneath.

A video starts playing once a few seconds of it have loaded, so it does not stop and start on a slow connection; until then it says Buffering. If the connection cannot keep up mid-way, the sound fades out, it waits with Buffering on screen, and carries on when there is enough again. In your library, each video shows its length, the quality it was made at and any upscale, e.g. 10s · 720p · Upscaled to 4K.

You can close this window. The job carries on without you, the video appears in your library when it is complete, and we email you when it is ready unless you have turned that off (see Email when a video is ready).

If it fails, the page says why in plain language, your credits are already back, and Try again takes you to the composer.
