Upscaling a video you already have

Upscale only: your own clip to 1080p or 4K, with no new render.

Upscale only takes a video you upload — your own footage, or a clip you made here and downloaded — and puts it through the upscaler alone. There is no prompt and no model: the prompt box greys out while it is on. It is priced on the clip's length, which we check against the file before upscaling; if they disagree, the job stops and you are refunded.

  • Turn on Upscale only (under More options on the phone layout).
  • Add the video to upscale (MP4 or MOV, up to 20 minutes).
  • Pick 1080p or 4K. The price appears as soon as the clip is picked.
  • Press Generate. The result lands in your library like any other video.

Upscaling is priced by the length of the clip: a one-minute clip costs $1.73 to 4K and $0.44 to 1080p. Above $10.00 the composer asks you to confirm the figure before anything is charged.

Upscaling is included on Standard, Pro and Max. Images cannot be upscaled on their own; attach one as a first frame and render a video instead.
